For procurement.
For engineering.
For ESG teams.

Documentation organised by the three audiences who actually use it. Direct PDF downloads where available, request links where confidential or installation-specific.

For ESG teams

Audit-grade evidence.

For sustainability officers, ESG consultants, and CSRD-affected organisations preparing primary-data sustainability statements.

Independent research · 2022
University of Zagreb
Carbon Footprint Study

Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering, 2022. Ranks ten food-waste management methods by carbon footprint. It identifies on-site aerobic treatment (Griffon) as the most desirable option after donation. Includes Croatia 2021 sector calculations, EU methodology references, and full citations.

Frequently asked questions

The questions
buyers actually ask.

What does the output look like?

Filtered liquid effluent through the standard kitchen drain. No solid by-product. No biogas. No digestate to collect.

Does it need three-phase power?

No. Every model in the Griffon range runs on single-phase 220–230 V, 50/60 Hz — the standard kitchen outlet. No electrical upgrade. No three-phase installation cost.

Is the carbon-footprint claim independent?

Yes. The 21.40 kg CO₂ / tonne figure comes from a 2022 research study by the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering — not commissioned by Griffon. The PDF is available above.

What if the distributor goes away?

Manufacturer obligations are independent of distributor continuity. Service, parts, warranty, and the Griffon 100 enzyme supply remain direct from Griffon. Authorised service engineers report to the manufacturer.

Can it handle bones, oil, dairy?

Soft bones, oils, dairy, vegetable matter, prepared food — yes. Large hard bones, packaging, cutlery — no. Standard inorganic separation at source is required.

What about CSRD & ESG reporting?

Built-in scales weigh every kilogram automatically. Daily, monthly, annual logs are automatic. CSV / PDF / JSON exports compatible with Datamaran, Workiva and comparable platforms. Audit-grade primary data per CSRD definition.
