Griffon was not assembled from licensed parts. Its founder — an engineer with three decades in the waste sector and a background in chemical and eco-engineering — designed the parallel geared aerobic digester and formulated its enzymatic chemistry directly. The same hand that engineered the machine defined how it is built in Croatia and serviced manufacturer-direct across every market. Decisions here are made on engineering principles, not marketing convenience.
Most food-waste digesters sold in Europe are imported — manufactured in the United States, Canada, South Korea, or China and resold by local distributors. Griffon is different. Engineering, manufacturing, certification, and service are all inside the European Union, on the same continent as our clients.
Distant-reseller models depend on long travel times for repair. Griffon maintains in-country engineers across all seven operating markets — with priority routing for clinical and critical-continuity installations.
All consumables and replacement parts are kept in EU stock. No customs clearance for routine service. No multi-week shipments from overseas after a breakdown.
Griffon employs its own engineering and service team. Authorised distributors handle local commercial relationships; technical service is direct from manufacturer.
The manufacturer. Griffon’s warranty obligations and parts supply are independent of distributor continuity. Twenty-four-month distributor turnover is a real risk in the food-waste category; Griffon’s direct-manufacturer model eliminates it.
Griffon operates through authorised distributors in its seven markets — for sales, contract management, and on-site demonstrations. Technical service is always direct from manufacturer.
