Griffon Waste Management d.o.o. is dedicated to the protection of personal data collected in accordance with the basic principles of data protection, primarily acting in accordance with Regulation of the European Parliament and Council 2016/679 of 27.04.2016 (General Data Protection Regulation), regulations of the Republic of Croatia and the provisions of this policy privacy policy (hereinafter: Privacy Policy).

This privacy policy governs the way we handle your personal information.

The privacy policy informs you about the data we collect, the way we collect data, the purpose for which we collect and use the data, with whom we share your data, how long we keep it and about your rights.

Definition of personal data means any data relating to an individual whose identity has been or can be established. An identifiable individual is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by means of identifiers such as name, identification number, location data, network identifier or by one or more factors specific to physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that individual.

When we use the term “processing” we mean any procedure or set of procedures performed on personal data or on a set of personal data, automated means, such as collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adapting or modifying, finding, performing insights , use, disclosure by transfer, dissemination or otherwise making available, harmonization or combination, restriction, deletion or destruction.

  1. Data processing when visiting our website

1.1 Automatic collection of access data

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. In this case, only the access data that your browser automatically transmits will be collected. This will include, for example, your online identification (eg IP address, session identification numbers, device identification numbers), information about the internet browser and operating system used, the website from which you visit our website (ie if you are a from our website visited via the link), the names of the requested files (ie which text, videos, images, etc. you have viewed on our website), your browser language settings, error reports, if any, and access times.

This access data must be processed to enable you to visit and use our website easily and to ensure its continued functionality and security.

This access data will be stored on internal log files for a short period of time, in order to obtain statistical information on the use of our website. This allows us to continuously optimize our website, taking into account the usage patterns and technical resources of our visitors, as well as correcting failures and security risks. The information stored in the log files does not allow a direct conclusion to be drawn about you – we only store IP addresses in abbreviated, anonymous form. The log files are stored for 30 days and archived after subsequent anonymization. The legal basis for such data processing is Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR (balance of interests based on our legitimate interests listed above).

We use our own cookies and third-party cookies on our websites. A cookie is a standardized text file that your browser stores for a certain period of time. Cookies allow the local storage of information, such as language settings and temporary identifiers, that the server that set the cookie may invoke during subsequent visits to the website. You can adjust your browser settings to your liking, for example, by refusing to accept third-party cookies or all cookies.
